Template Description

A number of templates come with Business Notification. In order to use them you must:

  1. Use Notification Manager Template Administration to bring the template into Business Notification.

  2. In the Notification Manager, click New from template  to create an editable copy of a template you want to use.

Most, but not all, of these templates are time based. This means that events are not raised immediately in Navision. For any time-based template, some additional setup is required in Navision. The Business Notification Help topic in Navision explains how to raise these events. Two of the templates are not time based, and the events are raised immediately.

However, in order for any event to be raised in Navision from these templates, time based or not time based, you must click Administration, IT Administration, General Setup, Business Notification Setup and then insert a checkmark in the Send Notifications field.

Below is a short description of the six templates.
