Copy Job Budget Batch Job

This batch job allows you to copy an entire budget or an extract of single lines from a budget.

Attention

In the budget you copy from, all empty lines must be deleted, otherwise the batch job fails and you will receive an error message.

You can define what is included in the batch job by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. Fill in the fields as follows:

Job Budget Line

Job No.: In this field, you have to specify the budget you copy from. The target is always the budget from which you called the batch job. To see the jobs in the Job table, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.

Phase Code: Here you can specify the phase from which you would like to copy. To see the phases in the Phase table, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.

Task Code: Here you can specify the task from which you would like to copy. To see the tasks in the Task table, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.

Step Code: Here you can specify the step from which you would like to copy. To see the steps in the Step table, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.

Options

Copy Quantity Allocated: This field allows you to copy the units of measure that have been allocated to dates. The job budget entries of the corresponding values will be copied to the new budget as well.

Click the check box to insert a check mark or to remove one.

Date Change Formula: This field changes the dates of all copied lines according to the date formula you typed.

Click the up-arrow in the lower left-had corner to see the results of the filter you have defined for the table.

Click OK to run the batch job. If you do not want to start the batch job now, click Cancel to close the window.
