Send System Error Description Field

The BizTalk Management Setup Table

In this field, you can indicate whether the program should send a notification e-mail to the system administrator in case there is an error with the connection between Navision and BizTalk Server.

An example of such an error might be if the allowed number of unsent documents in the Maximum Unsent Documents field is exceeded. The program then sends an e-mail to the e-mail address specified in the System Administrator E-Mail field. To set up your program to send this notification e-mail, place a check mark in the Send System Error Description field by clicking the field and fill in the System Administrator E-Mail field.

Note

The errors that are reported to this e-mail address are errors that are relevant to, or can be related to, a specific company in Navision. Errors that cannot be related to a specific Navision company but are relevant to the entire database are reported to the e-mail address that is specified in the BizTalk Technical Notification window. Thus, the difference between the errors reported to the system administrator and errors reported to the BizTalk Technical Notification window has to do with how the error occurred in BizTalk Server. If, for example, the sending of a document fails and no company information can be retrieved from BizTalk Server, the notification will be sent to the address specified in the BizTalk Technical Notification window. If, on the other hand, it is possible to retrieve relevant company information from the failed document, the notification will be sent to the system administrator on the e-mail address specified in the System Administrator E-Mail field.
