Deleting Registered Whse. Documents

When an item has been posted as received, it is part of company inventory until it leaves the warehouse as a posted shipment. To keep a record of where the item is within the warehouse, you perform various activities and then register what you have done in the program. If your location is set up to use warehouse picks and put-aways but not directed put-away and pick, you may only register put-aways and picks. If your location uses directed put-away and pick, you also register warehouse movement instructions.

After some time, you will find that the program has stored many registered instructions, often for items that have long since left the warehouse. You can delete the registered documents that are no longer necessary either individually or by using a batch job particularly for this purpose.

To Delete Instruction Registrations:

  1. Open the Delete Registered Whse. Docs. window.

  2. Fill in the Type field on the batch job request window, and any other fields you would like to filter your request with.

  3. Click OK. The program has now deleted the registered warehouse documents as requested.
