Creating Reminders Manually

In the program, a reminder is similar to an invoice. When you create a reminder, a reminder header, as well as one or more reminder lines, must be filled in. You can manually fill in a header and have the program fill in the lines, or you can have the program create reminders for all customers automatically.

To Create Reminders Manually:

  1. Open the Reminder window.

  2. On the General tab, fill in the No. field.

  3. In the Customer No. field, enter the number of the customer for which you want to create a reminder.

  4. Click Functions, Suggest Reminder Lines. The Suggest Reminder Lines batch job request form appears.

  5. Set a filter on the Cust. Ledger Entry tab if you want to create reminders for specific entries.

  6. On the Options tab, place a check mark in the Only Entries with Overdue Amounts field if you want the reminders to contain only entries with overdue amounts. Otherwise, the reminder will contain all open entries for the customer.

  7. Click OK to start the batch job.
