Assigning Service Item Groups to Items

You can assign service item groups to items on the item card. The service item group determines whether the items are automatically registered as service items when sold. Service items representing items belong to the same service item group as the items.

To Assign Service Item Groups to Items:

  1. Open the Item Card window.

  2. Browse to the item that you want to assign a service item group to.

  3. In the Service Item Group field, click the AssistButton to see the Service Item Groups window. Select the relevant service item group, and then click OK to copy it to the field.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each service item group you want to assign.
