Setting Up Contract Specific Service Hours

You can use the Service Hours window to set up specific service hours for the customer that owns the service contract. The program uses the service hours when it calculates the response date and time for service orders and quotes that belong to the service contract.

If you do not set up specific service hours for the service contract, the program uses the default service hours for service contracts.

To Set Up Contract Specific Service Hours:

  1. Open the Service Contract window.

  2. Press F5 to open the Service Contract List window. Select the relevant contract and click OK. The Service Contract window for the contract appears.

  3. Click Contract, Service Hours. The Service Hours window appears.

  4. If you want to set up service hours based on default service hours, click Functions, Copy Default Service Hours. As a result, the default service hours will be copied into the opened Service Hours window.

  5. Edit the fields in the service hours entries and insert or delete entries to set up the service hours that you want to be valid for the contract. Note that for each filled in line the fields Day, Starting Time and Ending Time must not be empty.

  6. If you want the service hours to be valid from the specific date, fill in the Starting Date field.

  7. If you want the service hours to be valid on holidays, select the check box in the Valid on Holidays field.

  8. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each day of the week the customer's site is open for service.
