The program fills in the Line Value field in the following way.
If the contract line contains
a service item: the program automatically retrieves its price from the Default Contract Value field in the Service Item table and copies it into the Line Value field.
an item: depending on the value in the Contract Value Calc. Method field in the Service Mgt. Setup table, the program retrieves the amount from either the Unit Price or Unit Cost field in the Item table. After that, this value is multiplied by the contents of the Contract Value % field in the Service Mgt. Setup and divided by 100. This amount is copied into the Line Value field.
If the Contract Value Calc. Method field value is set to None, the program doesn't calculate the contents of the Line Value field.
