In the Fault/Resolution Codes Relationships window, you can see the relationships between fault codes (fault, fault area and symptom codes), resolution codes and service item groups. It displays the existing combinations of these codes for the service item group of the service item from which you accessed the window and the number of occurrences for each one.
In this window, you can create new combinations of these codes. You can also select the combination that you want to assign to the service item from which you accessed the window. You can create new combinations using these values:
Service Item Group - This field contains the code for the service item group for which you want to setup a new combination. For example: CD ROM.
Fault Area Code - This field contains a code for the fault area. For example: Communication.
Symptom Code - This field contains a code for the symptom. For example: Quality
Fault Code - This field contains a code for the fault. For example: Transmission.
