The resource journal lines allow you to post usage and sales of your resources for internal use and statistics. The entries do not have any connection to G/L accounts and cannot be posted to the general ledger (in contrast to job entries).
You can use recurring resource journals for resource transactions that must be posted repeatedly with few or no changes.
