Suggest Res. Price Chg.(Price) Batch Job

With this batch job you can create suggestions for changing the alternative unit prices for resources in the Resource Price table on the basis of the existing prices in the table. When the batch job has been completed, you can see the result in the Resource Price Changes window. You can also use the batch job Suggest Res. Price Chg. (Res.) to create suggestions for new prices.

The batch job only creates suggestions; it does not process the changes. If you are satisfied with the suggestions and want to implement them (that is, to insert them in the Resource Price table) use the Implement Res. Price Change batch job.

You can define what is included in the batch job by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the Resource Price tab by clicking the Field field and then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is included in the batch job by filling in the fields on the Options tab. Fill in the fields as follows:

Adjustment Factor: Enter the factor that the prices will be multiplied by (for example, 1.2).

Rounding Method: Enter a code for the rounding method that will be used to determine the new prices. To see the existing rounding methods, click the AssistButton that appears to the right of the field.

Create New Prices:

Place a check mark in the check box if you want the batch job to create new price suggestions (for example, a new combination of currency, job number and/or work type). If you only want to adjust existing alternative prices, do not insert a check mark.

Click OK to start the batch job. If you do not want to run the batch job now, click Cancel to close the window.
