This report shows a detail balance for selected vendors. You can use the report to verify that the balance for a vendor posting group is equal to the balance on the corresponding G/L account on a certain date. The report can, for example, be used at the close of an accounting period or fiscal year.
You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can add fields to the Vendor tab by clicking the Field field, pressing F3 and then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right.
To filter the information in the report, fill in the relevant fields as follows:
No.: Enter the numbers of the vendors you want to include in the report.
Date Filter: Enter the period for which you want the vendor trial balance (for example, 12/01/00..12/31/00).
Vendor Posting Group: Enter the vendor posting groups that you want to include in the report.
Click the up-arrow in the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have set for the report.
