Setting Up Vendors

When you set up a new vendor on a vendor card, there are fields that must always be filled in, fields that can be filled in as needed, and fields in which you cannot enter anything.

To Set Up Vendors:

  1. Open the Vendor Card window.

  2. Fill in the fields on the card. The following fields are mandatory:


    Gen. Bus. Posting Group

    VAT Bus. Posting Group

    Vendor Posting Group

    Application Method

    For Help about a specific field, click the field and press F1.

When you set up a new vendor, if you have integrated the Vendor table with the Contact table, the program automatically creates a new contact in the Relationship Management application area.
