The Planning Routing Line Table
This field contains the unit of measure code for the wait time that the program must use when you manufacture the item. Click the AssistButton to the right of the field to see a list of available unit of measure codes.
The program automatically fills in this field when you enter the number of a machine or work center on the line, but you can change it.
Wait time is the time that items in process must wait to be moved to the next machine or work center. In other words, it is the time between steps in the manufacturing process.
Note that the throughput time can be expressed in various units of measure. However, if you do so it will affect cost calculations.
