Starting Date Field

The Production BOM Version Table

Here you can enter the starting date for this production BOM version.

The starting date is the date from which the version is to be valid. All versions with a starting date older than the here-entered date become invalid when this production BOM version becomes valid. So you can set up new production BOM versions at a certain time and at the defined date they become valid automatically.
