The Production BOM Header Table
This field indicates whether there is a comment for this BOM.
If the Comment field is a standard part of the window, it appears in the form of a button. If a horizontal pencil icon is visible in this button, there is no comment for this BOM. If, however, there is a vertical pencil with four horizontal lines, there is a comment.
If you have inserted the Comment field manually, it appears in the form of a check box. If it is marked with a checkmark there is a comment for this BOM.
To view a comment or create a new one, click the Comment button or select Production BOM, Comment. A window then appears which displays existing comments and allows new ones to be created. You can learn more about this in the help for the Comment line window.
