The Production BOM Header Table
Here you can enter a search name.
Use this field to search for a certain BOM whose BOM number you do not have.
If you enter the search name in the Production BOM No. field, for example on the item card, the application then finds the BOM number you are looking for.
If you make an entry in the Description field and press the ENTER key, the contents of this field are copied automatically into the Search Name field.
The contents of the Search Name field need not necessarily be the same as the Description. You can also enter a search name manually.
You can enter a maximum of 30 characters, both numbers and letters.
If the search name was inserted automatically by the program, it will be changed each time you change the Name field. If you inserted the search name manually, it will not be changed automatically when the Description field is changed.
