Run Time Field

The Routing Line Table

Here you can enter the run time according to the value in the Run Time Unit of Measure field.

The run time is handled per lot size of the produced item. The run time does not include the setup time.

Example:

If you select Hours in the Run Time Unit of Measure field, and 5 is entered in the run time field, this means that you determine a run time of 5 hours for this operation.

You can enter the required time in distinct values by using different time units of measure for, for example, run time and wait time.

Example:

The total times, for example, setup time and run time, are only managed in minutes. They have a setup time of 10 minutes and a run time of 6 hours, so you must enter 360 minutes. However, by using different time units of measure, you can enter the run time in hours.

The sum of the values in the Setup Time, Run Time, Wait Time and Move Time fields plus the Queue Time field on the relevant Machine or Work Center card combine to give the production lead time of the item.

Note: If you select to use Days then remember that 1 day = 24 hours - and not 8 (working hours).
