Here you can enter the setup time according to the value in the Setup Time Unit of Measure field. The setup time is the time a machine or work center needs to convert from the production of the last good piece of item A to the first good piece of item B.
Example:
If you select Minutes in the Setup Time Unit of Measure field and you enter 20 here, this means that you determine a setup time of 20 minutes for this operation.
You can enter the times in distinct values by using different time units of measure for, for example, setup time and run time.
The sum of the values in the Setup Time, Run Time, Wait Time and Move Time fields plus the Queue Time field on the relevant Machine or Work Center card combine to give the production lead time of the item.
