This field shows the sum of the calculated capacity requirements for production orders for all work centers of the work center group.
The program automatically calculates and updates this field by using the contents in the Allocated Time field in the Prod. Order Capacity Need table.
You can filter this field so its contents are calculated only on the basis of certain dates and production order statuses. The unit of measure for the Prod. Order Need (Qty.) field is set in the Unit of Measure Code field on the corresponding work center cards.
To get the correct capacity information, you must use the same unit of measure code for all work centers in a work center group.
