It is often necessary to add comments to production orders. You could, for example, enter a comment which reminds you to check the quality of the goods to be produced. Another comment could remind you that you have to start a new planning when this order is reported finished.
You can set up these comments in the production order comment line table. You can find it in the Comments window which you can call from a production order by clicking the production order button.
Comments are always created for a certain production order. When you click the production order button on a production order for example and then select Comments you can create new comments or view existing comments which belong to this production order.
Production orders have a Comments button in addition to the No. field. If the icon in the button is a horizontal pencil, no comments have been created for this document. If the icon is a vertical pencil with four horizontal lines, there is a comment for the production order. You can click on this button to see the existing comments or to setup new ones.
