The Item Unit of Measure Table
In this field you must enter the number of units the Code represents compared to the unit of measure code you have entered in the Base Unit of Measure field on the item card. You can enter a decimal number greater than or smaller than 1.
If, for example, you keep an item on inventory in quantities of 1 and you buy the item in boxes of 32, enter 32 in this field. However, if you keep an item on inventory in quantities of 32 and want to be able to sell a single unit, enter 1/32 in this field. (The program automatically converts this to 0.03125.)
