On each line in a job journal, sales invoice or purchase invoice, you can see the phases, tasks and steps that have been budgeted for the particular job.
Open the Job Journal
window.
Click the relevant line in the journal, and then click Functions, Get Phase/Task/Step. The Job Budget (Phase/Task/Step) window appears for the particular job. Now you can compare the budgeted and actual figures at each level.
The procedure is the same from a sales or purchase invoice.
