This field contains the character that serves as a separator between the elements of your nonstock item number format if you have chosen a format using both a code and a number in the No. Format field.
For example, you have selected Vendor Item No. + Manufacturer Code in the No. Format field and have entered a - (hyphen) as the format separator. If the vendor item number is 2100 and the manufacturer is LANE, the nonstock item number is 2100-LANE.
