This field contains the code for the item category to which this nonstock item belongs. The choice of item category determines the following for the nonstock item:
On the basis of the item category that has been selected, the program fills in the above default values on the item card that it generates for the nonstock item.
To see the item categories in the Item Category table, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.
