This field indicates whether the item is a bill of materials.
A bill of materials is an item that consists of other items and/or other bills of materials.
If the check box contains a check mark, there is a list of the components that make up the item. To create such a list or to see a list of components that has been created, click the Item button and select Bill of Materials.
