Here you can enter the unit cost that will be used as a standard.
If you selected Standard in the Costing Method field, the program uses the contents of this field to complete the Unit Cost field, and the only way that you can change Unit Cost is by changing Standard Cost. Therefore you must complete the Standard Cost field if you selected Standard in Costing Method.
You can change the standard cost, but this will only affect new
postings. If you want to change standard cost for already posted
entries, you must use the revaluation journal.
