This field contains the column type for the analysis column. The type determines how the amounts in the column are calculated. You can click the AssistButton to the right of the field to see the options.
The program calculates the amounts for the period defined in the Date Filter field in the actual report or Analysis Report window as follows:
Formula
The column will display amounts calculated from amounts in other columns in the analysis report. You enter the formula in the Formula field.
Net Change
The column will display the net change in the item values during the period.
Balance
The column will display the item values at the end of the period.
Beginning Balance
The column will display the item values at the beginning of the period.
Year to Date
The column will display the net change in the item values from the start of the fiscal year to the end of the period.
Rest of Fiscal Year
The column will display the net change in the item values from the end of the period to the end of the fiscal year in which the period ends.
Entire Fiscal Year
The column will display the net change in the item values for the fiscal year in which the period ends.
