You can set up your transfer routes and assign a default in-transit code, shipping agent code and shipping agent service code. The program will use the shipping time of the shipping agent service to calculate the receipt date at the transfer-to location.
Before you do setup transfer routes, you must first set up the necessary in-transit codes.
Open the Transfer Routes window.
In the Show field, select the transfer route specification you want to have shown in the fields in the right pane.
In the right pane, on the line of your transfer-from location, click the field of the transfer-to location you want to set up for the transfer route. Click the AssistButton in the field. The Trans. Route Spec. window appears.
Fill in the in-transit code, shipping agent and shipping agent service fields in this window.
If you want the program to display the names of the transfer-to locations as headings in the right pane, place a check mark in the Show Transfer-to Name field. If you leave the field blank, the program will display the location codes.
When you have set up all your transfer routes, you can view the setup information at a glance in the Transfer Routes window by clicking the Show field and selecting the type of information that you want to display in the right pane.
