In Navision you can use the Country table to set up country codes. This makes it easier to see which countries you do business with. Country codes are also useful in connection with sales that often require following special customs procedures for different countries.
You use this table to set up a code representing information for each country. After a country code has been set up, you can enter it in the Country Code field on a customer or vendor card. This links the information in this table to the customer or vendor.
When a country code is entered in a window, the program will use the code to format all the addresses in the window on printouts.
The table is used if you trade with other countries in the EU. You use it to create the VAT- VIES Declaration Tax Auth report and to create INTRASTAT reports, which include information about sales to other countries.
