You use the BA Db. Dimension Card to view the dimensions that have been defined for a Business Analytics database, or to set up a new dimension.
When you define a cube, you select the tables that you want to analyze. From those tables, you choose measures, that is quantities and amounts, you want to analyze and then you choose the dimensions by which you want to analyze the measures.
