The BA Databases window contains a list of all configurations that you can use to generate Business Analytics cubes. Any new configuration that you create is listed in this table. A configuration is uniquely identified by a code.
Only one configuration can remain active at any time. You select the configuration that you want to activate by clicking the Active field on the corresponding row.
Each configuration definition is saved in a separate XML document. You can import an XML document for a configuration. Similarly, you can export the existing XML for a configuration to a file. You can view the .xml file for any configuration. You can choose these options from the BA Database button.
Whenever you change the definitions of the cubes, you must update the XML. If you have set up schedules, the configurator runs to create the cubes automatically at the same time every day, but you can also run the active configuration whenever you want.
