Bank Account Balance Window

The Bank Account Balance window appears when you click Bank Acc. and then Balance from the Bank Account Card window. The window shows a scrollable summary of the bank account balance at different periods.

You can select different time intervals in the Period column on the left. You can change the time interval by clicking on the buttons in the lower left-hand corner of the window: 1 (Day), 7 (Week), 31 (Month), 3 (Quarter), 12 (Year) and 3 horizontal lines (Accounting Period). Accounting periods are set up in the Accounting Period table.

When you scroll up and down, the program calculates the amounts according to the selected time interval.

The columns in the window display the following:

Net Change

The net value of entries for the period shown in the left column.

Net Change (LCY)

The net value of entries in LCY for the period shown in the left column.

Balance at Date

The balance on the date shown in the left column.

Balance at Date (LCY)

The balance in LCY on the date shown in the left column.

Attention:

Depending on how much detail you need to see, you can shift quickly back and forth between intervals that show the data in detail (such as Day) and intervals that show the data in less detail (such as Quarter).
