Post and Print

When you choose Posting, Post and Print, the program will start to post the recurring journal and print a report at the same time.

The report that will be printed was selected in the Posting Report ID field on the journal template.

When you are finished posting, you can also print the report by printing a report of the G/L register that was created by the posting.

You may want to print a test report before you start the posting.

A recurring journal cannot be posted unless it balances (that is, unless it contains equal debit and credit amounts) as of the posting date. If the journal does not balance, an error message will appear. Correct the error and start posting again.

You can also require that the recurring journal balance for each document number and document type. You do this in the Force Doc. Balance field in the General Journal Template table.

If you do not want the program to print a report in connection with the posting, choose Posting, Post.
