This report shows a budget statement. You can choose, for example, to see a budget for selected dimensions, or you can limit the period covered by the budget. The report can be used at the close of an accounting period or fiscal year.
You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is shown in the report by filling in the fields on the Options tab. Fill in the fields as follows:
No.: Enter the numbers of the G/L accounts to be included in the report. To see the existing account numbers, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.
Account Type: Choose an account type. To see the options, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.
Budget Filter: Enter the budget for which you want to see a statement. To see the existing budgets, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.
Global Dimension 1 Filter: Enter the dimension values to be included in the report.
Global Dimension 2 Filter: Enter the dimension values to be included in the report.
Click the up-arrow at the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have defined for the table.
Starting Date: Enter a date to specify the beginning of the period covered by the report.
Period Length: Specify the length of the periods shown in each column of the budget, for example 1M = 1 month, 1Q = 1 quarter.
Amounts in whole 1000s: Specify here whether the amounts in the report are shown in whole 1000s.
Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
