This report shows the chart of accounts with balances and net changes. You can choose, for example, to see a trial balance for selected dimensions. The report can be used at the close of an accounting period or fiscal year.
You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. Fill in the fields as follows:
No.: Enter the numbers of the G/L accounts to be included in the report. To see the existing account numbers, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.
Account Type: Choose an account type. If you want to see a condensed trial balance, choose total accounts. To see the account type options, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.
Date Filter: Enter the period for which the amounts in the G/L accounts will be shown.
Global Dimension 1 Filter: Enter the dimension values to be included in the report.
Global Dimension 2 Filter: Enter the dimension values to be included in the report.
Click the up-arrow at the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have defined for the table.
Print to Excel: Place a check mark in the check box if you want to export the data to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis or formatting before printing.
Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
