Check Value Posting Report

This report is used to ensure that the value posting rules you have specified for individual default dimensions do not conflict with the value posting rules you have specified for account type default dimensions. For example, if you have set up a customer account with value posting No Code and then specify that all customer accounts should have a particular default dimension value code, this report will inform you that a conflict exists. In this example, the program cannot both disallow the use of a dimension value code and allow the use of a default dimension value code.

You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. Fill in the fields as follows:

Default Dimension

Table ID: Enter a table ID for the type of accounts you want to check for value posting conflicts, for example, customer accounts.

Dimension Code: Enter the code or codes for the dimensions you want to check for value posting conflicts.

Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
