Copying Data from Other Companies

If your license file gives you permission to work with more than one company, you can copy setup data from an existing company to your new company.

To Copy Data from Other Companies:

Open the Setup Checklist window.
Click Functions, Copy Data to open the Copy Data window.
In the Copy from field, click the AssistButton to open the Companies window. Select the relevant company, and then click OK.

The program now displays the setup tables for the selected company in the Copy Data window. You can copy data from one or more tables at a time.
Select the tables you want to copy data from, and then click OK to copy the data to your new company.

After you have copied data from a table, the program removes it from the Copy Data window.
