Setting Up FA Posting Groups

You use posting groups to define groups of fixed assets. Entries for these posting groups are posted to the same G/L accounts.

To Set Up FA Posting Groups:

1. Open the FA Posting Groups window.

2. Fill in the fields for each posting group.

   For Help about a specific field, click the field and press F1.

   In each field, you can also click the AssistButton to see the Chart of Accounts window. Select the relevant account number, and then click OK to copy it to the field.

Note

Not all fields are visible in the standard layout. To see all the fields, click Posting Gr.. On the FA posting group card, click the General and Balancing Account tabs to see all account fields.
