5.3.1 Synchronization

In Commerce Portal, all data is maintained from Navision but stored in both the Navision database and in the SQL Server database. Synchronization between the two is done through messages sent through the Microsoft Message Queue.

 

On the synchronization setup card you can specify how you want synchronization between Navision and SQL Server to be carried out.

  1. Open the Synchronization Setup Card window:

Enter the synchronization setup code.

Description

Enter a description of the synchronization setup.

Bus Type

Enter the name of the bus that the synchronization must be sent through.

Outgoing Queue Label

Enter the label for the outgoing message queue.

Label Registry Key

Enter the key for where to find the labels and queue names.

Time Interval (Sec.)

Enter the time for when the program must check whether to synchronize data to SQL Server.
