Assigning Organizational Levels

You can assign an organizational level to your contacts for them to specify which position they have within their company, for example, top management. Only contact persons can be assigned organizational levels. You can only assign one organizational level to each contact.

Before you can do this, you must set up organizational levels in the Organizational Levels window.

To Assign Organizational Levels:

  1. Open the Contact Card window.

  2. Select the contact you want to assign an organizational level to, and click the Segmentation tab.

  3. Click the AssistButton to the right of the Organizational Level field.

  4. In the Organizational Level window, select the relevant organizational level and click OK.

Note

When you have assigned organizational levels to your contacts, you can use this information to create segments.
