Setting Up Sales Cycle Stages
You can use the Sales Cycle
Stages window to set up the different stages within each
opportunity sales cycle.
To Set Up Sales Cycle Stages:

Open the 
Sales Cycles window.

Find the opportunity sales cycle for which you want to set up
stages, and click Sales Cycle,
Stages. The Sales Cycle Stages window appears.

Press F3 to enter a new stage in the sales
cycle.

Fill in the fields on the line. For Help about a specific field,
click the field and press F1.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to set up as many stages as you want within
the sales cycle.
