The BizTalk Partner Setup Header Table
This field allows you to indicate what sales item number you and your BizTalk partner have agreed to use. To choose a number type, open the list and select one of the following:
There are two possible item numbers that you may use:
1. Internal Item No: This is the item number that you use internally.
2. Common Item No.: This is a unique common item number that the vendor and customer agree upon.
The common item number will normally be a standardized item number, for example, a European Article Number (EAN).
You can use the common item number to identify items on inbound BizTalk documents.
