Outbound Sales Document Line Table

List of Fields in the Table

The program uses the outbound sales document line to store sales document line information that is used in sales documents which you send electronically to various business partners. This line information is used in BizTalk sales order confirmations, BizTalk sales invoices, BizTalk shipment notifications, BizTalk sales quotes and BizTalk sales credit memos.

Thus, the outbound sales document line is used as a read-only viewer from which you can send and view specific data on items on outbound BizTalk sales documents. The outbound sales documents that are stored here are either unsent, sent or processing.

A sales document is outbound if it is sent from you to one of your business partners.

The outbound sales document line contains all the relevant information (such as item number, quantity and price) about the items you have on inventory. Amounts on the sales lines are in the source currency unless the field name indicates that the amount is in dollars. The source currency is the currency represented by the currency code on the sales header.

The outbound sales document line is related to the Outbound Sales Document Header table. The outbound sales document header contains all the relevant information about the sell-to and bill-to customers, such as name, address, document number and date. It has four tabs: General, Invoicing, Shipping and BizTalk. These tabs contain information about the sell-to customer, bill-to customer, shipments and relevant BizTalk details. The program retrieves most of this information automatically from the Customer table.

When sending and subsequently converting a Navision sales document into a BizTalk sales document, information that is contained in the Navision Sales Header table is stored in the Outbound Sales Document Header table. Information that is contained in the Navision Sales Line table is stored in the outbound sales document line. The outbound sales document header and the outbound sales document lines are related to each other in the same way as Navision sales header and sales lines are related.

Note

The outbound sales document line is read-only. This means that it is not possible to change or enter anything in the Outbound Sales Document Line table. If you need to make any changes to this table, you must make them before the Navision sales documents are transformed into BizTalk sales documents.

This is also why there is no Help for most of the fields in the Outbound Sales Document Line table. If you need Help or information about any of the fields in this table without Help, see the Help for the corresponding field in the Sales Line table.
