Inbound Sales Document Line Table

List of Fields in the Table

The program uses the inbound sales document line to store sales document line information that is used in sales documents which you receive electronically from various business partners. This line information is used in two BizTalk documents: the request for sales quotes and BizTalk sales orders.

Thus, the inbound sales document line is used as a read-only viewer where you can view specific data on items on inbound BizTalk sales documents. The inbound sales documents that are stored here are either pending, accepted, rejected or processing.

A sales document is inbound if it is sent to you from one of your business partners.

The inbound sales document line contains all the relevant information (such as item number, quantity and price) about the items you have on inventory. Amounts on the sales lines are in the source currency unless the field name indicates that the amount is in dollars. The source currency is the currency represented by the currency code on the sales header.

The inbound sales document line is related to the Inbound Sales Document Header table. The inbound sales document header contains all the relevant information about the sell-to and bill-to customers, such as name, address, document number and date. It has four tabs: General, Invoicing, Shipping and BizTalk. These tabs contain information about the sell-to customer, bill-to customer, shipments and relevant BizTalk details. The program retrieves most of this information automatically from the Customer table.

When a BizTalk sales document is accepted (either automatically or by the user) and subsequently converted into a Navision sales document, information that is contained in the Inbound Sales Document Header table is stored in the Navision Sales Header table. Information that is contained in the inbound sales document lines is stored in the Navision Sales Line table. The inbound sales document header and the inbound sales document lines are related to each other in the same way as Navision sales header and sales lines are related.

Note

The inbound sales document line is read-only. This means that it is not possible to change or enter anything in the inbound sales document line. If you need to make any changes to this table, you must make them after the BizTalk sales document is transformed into a Navision sales document.

This is also why there is no Help for most of the fields in the Inbound Sales Document Line table. If you need Help or information about any of the fields in this table without Help, see the Help for the corresponding field in the Sales Line table.
