Text boxes

The formatting instructions you enter in this trigger, via C/AL code, affect only what the user sees on the screen. The code you place in this trigger does not affect how data is stored.

This is the first trigger executed when a user highlights a control to enter data; the OnBeforeInput Trigger is the next trigger executed.

This trigger is called after the control is formatted. The TextString parameter contains the default format information.

The form closes if an error occurs in the trigger code. You cannot use this trigger to write to the database.
