When the form wizard adds controls to a form, these controls are sized evenly according to a default scheme. If you move the controls around, the sizes that the wizard assigned may no longer be appropriate. Other situations where you might want to change the size of a control are if you change the font size, or if you do not want to display all the information from a large table field, but only the first part. You can only resize one control at a time.

To size and resize controls

  1. Select the control. It is now surrounded by a bounding box with sizing handles.

  2. Select a sizing handle and the cursor becomes a sizing cursor.

  3. Click the left mouse button and drag the control until it has the size you want. If the Snap to Grid property is set, the sizing takes place in fixed increments.
