The Classic Server Components option is available on the Choose an installation option page in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Setup.
The components in this option are updated versions of the components that comprised the previous version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (version 5.0). These components, together with the Classic client, comprise the Classic Architecture in Microsoft Dynamics 2009.
Classic Server components are for organizations in the process of transitioning from the Classic architecture of version 5.0 to the new RoleTailored Architecture of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.
