Forms

Forms can be created and designed manually. Although this method gives you the most control, it may take some time to learn this technique. Alternatively you can use a form wizard, which is fast and easy and the preferred method to use when you are just beginning to create forms. A form wizard prompts you for the minimum amount of information needed to create a form and then does the rest of the work. After the form has been created by the wizard, you can use Form Designer to alter it to meet your requirements.

You can create two kinds of forms in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

  • Card forms that display one record at a time.

  • Tabular forms that display several records at a time.

You can use the form wizard to create both kinds of forms.
