This value shows whether to use a lock timeout.

This function has been specifically designed for use in long running processes that should not be terminated because of a lock timeout, for example batch jobs that run overnight.

When the C/AL code is finished running, the default setting is used again. This function does not alter the duration of a lock timeout.

To change the default setting in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, click File, click Database, and then click Alter to open the Alter Database window. Click the Advanced tab and enter or remove the check mark from the Lock timeout field.
